Melissa Harshman

The opening reception will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 6pm to 8pm.

Melissa will be teaching a gel plate workshop on Sat, August 12th.

MELISSA HARSHMAN received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 1992. She has taught at the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia since 1993. Harshman has exhibited widely throughout the United States and abroad. She was awarded a University of Georgia Senior Faculty Research Grant in 2019 titled “Explorations in Papermaking.” She was one of the inaugural Arts Lab Fellowship recipients from the University of Georgia for 2022/23 focusing on papermaking wall installations. Following the opening reception, the exhibition can be seen during our regular gallery hours on Saturdays from noon to 4pm. The show closes on August 12, 2023.
