PaperWorkers Local’s second annual juried exhibition
The varied people of Alabama have deep ties to the water and land of Alabama. Those ties and appreciation of water provide inspiration for submissions to this show.

Water of Alabama: A Response to ‘Waterline’ is sponsored by Paperworkers Local, a 501(c)(3) non-profit artists’ co-operative based around a printmaking facility in Birmingham, Alabama, in partnership with the Birmingham Museum of Art and the Cahaba River Society, and with generous grant support from the Alabama Council on the Arts (www.arts.state.al.us/)
The members of PaperWorkers Local have pooled their resources to establish Birmingham’s first printmaking studio. The co-operative also exhibits the work of local artists and emerging artist from around the country, as well as offering workshops in various media.
